Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Couldn't find the painting forum so I posted here.

I am looking for quality acrylic paint (liquitex, maimeri) at a decent price.

What would be the best place to get some in Dublin or even by mail order?

Im not sure about acrilics, i always found them to be a bit plastic. But there seems to be a good supply shop on harcourt st beside the stephens green.

Don't know how good they are for top quality stuff but Evans are the best I've found for student quality stuff.

Don't know much when it comes to paint but you could try O'Sullivans art supplies. Can never remember the name of the street they are on but it's off Camden Street, at the Black Horse end (Havana Tapas Bar is on the same street).

    I already did a few , Kennedy M & Sons, Evans K & M, Kavanagh.
and wasn't really impressed by their prices.

I think you will probably find that is the general pattern, any bit and pieces I've bought in O'Sullivan's have always been expensive.

Kennedys of Harcourt St, D2 have the best range, and they will give you a free loyalty card which will get you discounts and special offers. www.kennedyart.com

I'm somewhat bemused but since I generally close down zombie threads immediately and see no reason to make an exception for this.
