Need Answers for Next week paper bit!!!

This is a few questions I dont really know the answers to. If any one out there can help just reply here and I'll collect them and mail tonight (btw Q2 ppl, thanks for the prompt info, its gone off to him now.)

Hope you liked the piece in Computimes today. As I was saying I am
hoping to do one that with a little more focus on the local Quake scene
next week. I just have another couple of (dozen!)questions.

There are 2 Leagues and 16 Clans for Quake?
How many Leagues and Clans for Quake2?
Is There a site with links to most clans?
CTF, Rocket arena are all mods for Quake 2, is this the same in
principal with Quake are are they part of Quakeworld??? Hope that makes

You mentioned Mark Cullen who done the Irish Skin, Are there any other
guys who design skins,levels or models? I know you mentioned one guy who
does modelling if I remember correctly.

There are 2 leagues (IQ2 Clan League, and Irish Quake2 Capture the Flag League) in exsistence at the mo. There are around six active Irish Quake2 clans at present, they can be linked to from http://hosted.quake.ie/q2n/, which contains a list of Irish clans and members.

CTF and Arena for Quake2 are the same or similar to Quake (as far as I know), merely updated and with much better graphics and gameplay <IMG SRC="http://lacerta.ucg.ie/boards/smile.gif&quot; WIDTH=15 HEIGHT=15 BORDER=0 ALT=":)">

There is a guy called POB who designed DzR's website and does skins and such, I beleive. I do not have any contact details for him, tho perhaps one of the DzR lads could provide that.

Erm best check the IQCL page but I think it's 1 league, 2 divisions with 7 clans each (that's 14 in total DeV <IMG SRC="http://lacerta.ucg.ie/boards/tongue.gif&quot; WIDTH=15 HEIGHT=15 BORDER=0 ALT=":P">).

2 leagues. The first was IQ2CL (how many teams was that again, 7 or 8?). Second is IQ2CTFL (7 clans).

Not really any more, the best set of links (IMVHO) is at the top of Cloud Boards - Quake Advanced.

Zoid's CTF and Rocket Arena were originally developed for normal Quake, then they were updated for QuakeWorld. These mods are basically the same as the later Q2 versions.

GreenBean (John O'Kane) and Dupre both worked on the Lost Colonies Q2 total conversion. Other part time Irish level makers include Musician and Mouserat.

Also,

a number of irish Q2 clans are competing in uk based leagues. The main uk q2 league is the UK Clan Carnage League which has 80 clans fighting it out on a weekly basis.

HIV are considered the top irish clan in the UKCCL at present giving it their all for mother ireland in Div2.

In relation to map makers. I was the first person to be making levels for Lost colonies but alas had to leave due to exam pressures. Chris whatever happened to lost colonies I have some free time at the mo and would finish up those maps i did. Myself and a guy called [Dos]Tiger made a map for the planetquake jailbreak mod for quake2.
