Satellite Query

I recently moved into a new house here, and it has a satellite (sky I am sure) dish with all the cabling (in 3 rooms) etc, but no decoder/box.

I have no desire to give any money to Mr. Murdoch, and have seen lots of stuff written about the free BBC channels. What box would I have to buy to make this work, without paying Sky?

    Thanks,

    Scot

A free to air box will give you access to free chanels.

Strangly the cheapest solution can be to get a Sky subsidized install, cut back to lower pack after one month and cancel after one year.

A PC Card is good for feed TVs and hard Disk recording.

A FTA box is good for non-Sky Satellites and FTA on Sky.

But for Sky only without recording the Sky Sub with cheap install for a year is best value.
