Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    ARVEENE, Tuesday July 8th, 2003.

    The Dublin DJ with the broadest grin of all on his face when he gets behind the decks! Having grown up in and around the music industry, Arveene is one of Irelands most talented and prodigious DJs. As voted by the public Arveene is currently Ireland's NO. 1 DJ on the Clubbing.com website's DJ Chart. Combining Booty Shakin' Electro, Rare Grooves with Hard Jackin House Music, Arvo (as he's known to his friends) has been rockin' clubs like Dublin's POD and Kitchen since he was 16.

    Following many high profile support slots for the likes of Ian Brown, DJ Premier, Daddy G (Massive Attack), Nightmares on Wax, Tom Middleton (Cosmos), Soul2Soul and Groove Armada amongst others. Arveene has just finished the Red Bull Music Academy tour of Germany and Poland.

    Not satisfied with just Djing Arveene is also a founder of Dublin Distribution, one of the country's leading distributors of House and Techno. During the last two summers Arveene has taken part in the annual international music conference, "The Red Bull Music Academy". As well as playing the Witness festival in 2000 and 2001. This year‚s festival (2003) will see him play the Dance tent on the Sunday to a ten thousand plus crowd. Arveene's current Dj residencies include, Choice Cuts@RiRa, Nylon@Traffic and BeatSuite@Morrison in Dublin as well as Monthly residencies in Limerick, Belfast and Galway.

    The most important thing to know about Arveene is that he rips up any dance floor with a smile on his face and a damn good heart. He's young and he's hungry, you'll be hearing about him for a while. Believe it!!!

    Support on the night is provided by HiFi‚s resident dj Joey Kelly playing Soul, Hip-Hop, Funk n' Disco

    Doors for this gig are 11 bells in the p.m. and admission is a very resonable •6 or •5 with flyer/student i.d. J r.o.a.r.
