we had to shelve our selected team for the ukccl tonite due to myself and CT getting minimum 450ms pings. we tried both tinet and indigo.

EED beat a thrown together team 85-50 on q2dm6. I was going to play the team that tore DF apart on sunday nite on a UK server on q2dm6. Max can vouch that we owned that level. we're now in a relegation struggle for the rest of the season.

bah, now you know how i felt with me old modem for 4 months. except that a ping of 450 is sheer luxury. iremember when i used to have a ping of 500 to me own puter. that was in the days before first person games came out and there were undred an fifty of us livin in shoebox int middle o road.

Here, I cant help wondering that if your pings were so bad before the match and you knew this, why didnt you try and put the match off with your oppenents till a later date ? Would it have been that bad ?

Donno, its sounds silly that you would knowingly even start a match with such bad pings. Maybe Im not getting the big picture here ?

Eric, the thing is it's a big league and they don't want to get involved in postponing games and the like, so ye either show up r not. I can see all other Irish clans pullin out in the next month, it's frustrating losing to clans you know u can b!tchslap up n' down a level on even terms.

MP, there are 80 clans in the ukccl. you can prospone matches if you contact them a few days in advance. Our pings were fine to the uk thou on sunday nite, so we didn't think we'd have a problem.

HIV won't be pulling out, IOL account holders are getting playable connections to uk atm. Aye, IOL are better than Tinet & Indigo lol. And if we end up getting relegated due to this loss, we'll just have to get promoted again next season.

I've just recently started on net play, and boy is it frustrating! Perhaps i'm too used to lan play, but the pain when I manage to connect to any UK server and watch my ping disintegrate...

I have two accounts active at the moment, one with Indigo and one with ClubI, neither is up to much.

Yeah iol is ok.I played using it last night.
Its jumpy bit hey its better than a 500ms ping.
But still ohhh god how good it would be to get those guys on to the Irish servers,
Shank i totally agree with you but in Div2 there all good Clans,but i know if we had the same pings we would beat them easy it's very frustrating.

The lads complaining about pings....ye've never played from waterford worst set up in the country....get like 300-350 to quake.ie ffs
