    Well done to Cathal Lombard for a brilliant run in Watford on Saturday. 28.05.27 and fourth place. Brilliant!!

    Great to see Irish middle distance running heading back to the top.

    Cathal hasnt run too many 10ks so there is plenty more to come from him in future races. Sub 27 next time.

    Great also to see a home based runner getting to the top without going to America, which in my opinion is over glamorised and has destroyed more than a few athletes.

    I would strongly advise young athletes to stay at home and be coached by people who care about the athlete, rather than the US where coaches care more about points and the college more than anything else. And a lot of them know very little about running

    Is 10k Middle distance running? Six odd miles sounds like an awful long way for middle distance. Then again I guess I'm just viewing it from a former shot putters perspective :) .
