Yeah the guys sitting at the bar were sound enough as was the old guy behind the bar..

Ive been at the strawberrty fair a few times in the past, well not
the fair itself, more the pubs and the bar extensions that they
have as they seem never to close.. Always a class session..

Ive also heard of that place, with the night club out in the arse
hole of no where, Killane, where all the clonroche heads go..
apparently Saturday night there is like a mix of a scene from
deliverance and Beruit.... :rolleyes:

That would be Rackards of Killane - if you ever want to see the vast selection of checked shirts in one place, well Rackards is the place to go

New Ross and Clonroche are on a par with each other, neither better than the other, and the road to Kilkenny is not the best thing to come out of New Ross (the Rower anyone...tsk)
New Ross needs some serious Urban Renewal, some E.U grants, and a cinema , and has the potential to be an 'ok' place.
I haven't gone out in New Ross since the days of the Colosseum, when the sewerage from the ladies toilet used to seep down into the men's... ah those were they days........!!!!
Wexford town is getting better and better(with the longest bridge in Ireland)!
County Wexford has some very talented people, particularly in the Arts... Eoin Colfer, Salthouse, some great scenery(the hook), and sporting legends.
Although a serious amount of teenage pregnancies.

But it's not all bad ya know lads.
