    Hopefully one of our sows will litter down this week or next week successfully.

    Any keen pet keeper in driving distance of Limerick City / Patrickswell interested.

    They can leave "mummy" about 6 weeks old.

    IF you have only one it needs a LOT of attention as they are social / colony animals

    Here are some photos from nearly 3 years ago.

    The cute Ginger "piggy" in the first picture is the "daddy" of the expected pups.


    (Why are offspring of Boar & sow called "Pups"?)


    We really should add more pages to our Cavy site as we have learnt a lot in 3 years and much has happened.
