    I realize its a bit of a closed shop but does anyone know of a clan (Q or Q2) who needs a experienced gamer (with far too much time on his hands) - new to the whole quake on-line thang - good one Joe - only 5 years odd late <IMG SRC="http://lacerta.ucg.ie/boards/smile.gif&quot; WIDTH=15 HEIGHT=15 BORDER=0 ALT=":)">

    Currently, most of the Q2 clans have decent-sized squads, and I don't know of any who would take on a person unless they saw them play online on a regular basis.

    Most of the regular Q2 players are found on q2war1.quake.ie - if you play well there, and play often, you shouldn't have any trouble in joining a good clan.

    tell you what, i'll be on irc on wednesday evening. it could be at 7 or if i go training (in the cold loike) about 12. i'll give you a duel and if your any good, ie if you can beat me (everyone else does) i'll see what i can do about getting you into AeD.
    ripper is the clan leader so you could approach him. weve never played together, or practised and im new to this area as well, but i guess you gotta start somewhere.
    if i dont see ou on wednesday evening i will definately be on thursday evening at a normal time, ie 8 or 9ish

    Quake 1 : Just keep playing on servers and u will be noticed and picked up, quake.indigo.ie is a good place to start i guess ( Clan Arena )

    and i i=will be on late on wednesday night coz im going to dcu to have some drinks and then to see da boird.
