    Does any1 know if I can make the Mouse accelerate ala Dos Quake ?
    Id really appreciate it thanks

    winquake and qw use the windows drivers for the mouse afaik. Some mouse drivers have an acceleration option in control panel - so it depends on your mouse driver I guess.

    Well dosquake would force acceleration.
    On paper is seems like a good thing... slow for accuracy then fast for turning round.
    But it doesnt seem to work that way, maybe we havent given it enough of a chance.... :/

    dave dont use mouse acceleration!!
    it is really bad for quake, tracking anyone/anything is **** hard, and you will never be able to turn fast again cos if you move the mouse a bit too much, you end up doing a 360 turn and shooting yourself in the head.
    take it, DOS!!!!

    Does the mouse automatically accelerate in DosQuake? Or is there some monkeying around to be done?

    Anything to help me actually turn around!!!

    In Dos Quake, yeah the mouse is accelerated, as those of you who came down to UL last year would remember Koopas excuse for getting hammered by Krusty was that they used Q95 rather than Winquake.
    OL seemed to like the mouse acceleration, I personnally don't, but I haven't seen anything for it for QW or WQ.
