I pressed factory reset and it got rid of mine .. I didn't want to though

my 5310i allows me to turn it off by going
menu > settings > display settings >operator logo.
However my old 3310 didn't have this IIRC
Alternatively you could move to Northern ireland and roam: operator logo gone without changing phone settings!
