First Irish Live News Tranmission Tonight

    Alright lads,

    Tonight is the launch of the UL Quake News, live on the Internet at 9pm tonight.
    The News Team, consisting of Beast, Overlord, Jay, Zero and guests will do the normal newspage stuff, from Board commentary to looking around the webpages under the influence of drugs.
    To connect and hear the news, its simple :
    Open Winamp.
    Right-click and choose "Open Location"
    Fill in "http://136.201.1.4:8000"
    Then sit back and listen to some stoned muppets fill you in on whats been goin on.

    32 places on the server, cya at 9pm.

    Fair play lads. Should be fun. I reckon it's gonna be wedged with ppl trying to get onto it, but hey, we'll just have to wait and see.

    Lads,

    we have tested the server n **** and all seems fine now. We will kick in the server at 8.50 and loop some music on it til we start up. it'd be cool if we got a good few in, if you cant connect please dont hammer the server coz bandwidth is limited here in plassey. there is also a slight server problem in that it can lag the odd time but either way the whole message gets there. The whole thing CAN be saved, and if i have enough space on the machine we will save it to replay if its any good.
    we WILL be reviewing games played lately, lookin at a few sites and basically fuccking around, hope it will be good, we spent a good while today getting it working.
