Does anyone know how true the idea is that if u arrive at witnness this year ur going to be allocatied a camping area, so u have to show up with ur friends if u want to camp near them ? Does this only apply on the saturday ? Anyone know do they stop letting ppl into the camping site at sometime on friday or would u be able…

I know that in some festivals in england they do the campsite allocating thing, it's not "you pitch your tent on exactly this spot", the campsite is just divided up into a few large fields, so basically instead of a whole bunch of people all rushing to one particular area, they'll send the first 50 people to one field, the next to another and so on to try to evenly distribute things around the site to stop over crowding.
