Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yes,this is probably in the wrong forum, but anyway...
when I logged onto mIRC today, norton immediatly came up with an alert that my win.exe was infected with the Backdoor.Sdbot virus, and it could not be repaired. Wonderful. I looked at http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/backdoor.sdbot.html , and the advise given was to "delete the infected programs"... so I delete win.exe? I think not.
I ran the virus scan in safemode, but still no joy. Does anybody know how I can go about getting rid of this? And no, reinstalling my o/s is not really an option.

'Twas a joke... incidentally get AVG. It's free and there's a chance Norton might be infected if it's asking you to delete win.exe

If you have the books off the cd, microsoft will replace it if its not a oem version and is a full package product, as for a product key they will also replace that.

Call Microsoft Ireland they should sort you out.
