Yes indeed, the Games forum welcomes all discussion about Wolfenstein and it's ilk. From card games to Risk. From CM5 to FFXII, we at the Games forum encourage you the poster to come to our happy collective and not talk about warez.

The games forum would not be a good place to post about these type of games. From my own perspective it seems like console games and rts games. I wouldnt post anythin about ET/wolf there.

    That's just silly.

Yeah there is defo a growing following on RTCW and more so ET. There is an irish server hosted by hosting365, IP is 217.114.170.62:27960.

Should defo have a board when i see the likes of flashpoint with one.

Since the release of Enemy Territory, interest has rocketed.

    A board is definately deserved.

    :D

    here here...

if it is decided to go ahead with it, call it just "Wolfenstein" to reflect the the different versions of the game...

they need their own board so it can dwindle and die like the quake one.
also, ye need a warcraft3 forum thing too.

Already Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory has as many players as quake 3, and more than MOH:AA. Because its a free, standalone game, its one that will last for years. It is good fun, and there are lots of Irish players currently playing it.

With an Irish server already in place, I think a board on boards.ie would be helpful in creating a lasting Irish community for both RTCW and ET (and other Wolfenstein games to come), which would assist the development of our Wolfenstein clan scene.
