    Out of the old ashes sizzle and scream a new wave realisation called Melt Banana. A maelstrom of experimental heart surgery, Melt Banana walk on water. They effortlessly juggle all of those sharks that think they're swimming in new, unexplored territories.

    Melt Banana is made up of two ladies and two fellas that hail from Tokyo's ferocious underground. They sweat out a super-adrenalized, maxi-caffeinated collision of frenzied drum rhythms and torturous guitar squeals through tiny, frantic, hyper-rhythmic little songs.

    They have just released their new album "Cell-Scape" on their own record label (A-Zap Records) to tremendous acclaim from the alternative music press.

    as far as I'm aware they're playing dublin, cork & limerick, not sure about any northern shows.

    Might go to Dublin date anyway if i have the funds ... a date in the north would be nice though :D
