Peltier Cooling questions

Am going to try a little project with a 72w peltier. Plan is to use it with only HSF type cooling, no water or gas or anything.
Plan is to machine a pure copper heatsink to fit the peltier into it and pop a fast fan on the top.

Feel free to shoot holes in my plan. Will the copper melt on the hot side of the peltier? Is it advisable to use a coldplate of some sort between the pelt and the cpu? If so what material is recommended?

Need I worry about condensation with this proposed setup or will the heat of the CPU and hot side of the pelt ensure that I never get close to the dewpoint?
