2v2 league. Maps?

Here please ohh please can we play a different level than DM1. To be honest it's crap everyone knows it to well you know where someone is just by lookin hearing thingas being pickup'd

Why not play on a level thats not normally played Match1 was mentioned by Spoon and is a great level.
We could even have 2 or 3 levels to be used if its a League. Means tactics will have to be taught up for more than 1 level. Makes it a bit more interesting for all.

What ya'll think??

Match one was designed for duels, 2on2's its the best choice imo. Q2DM1 is boring, plus you cant show off your quad whore skills.

theres a nice ikdm level with the steps and corridors and 2 rails in it nic for 2 on 2 - check (ikdm4 is it?)

theyre the 4 maps id say play likes. but hey im just a freak.

Well basically you're stuck with it lads. Youse can play a different map if all the players agree, and different maps each week is being considered. Any more opinions?

Yeah I have to agree, DM1, great level an all right but its waaayyyyy borin at this stage. MATCH1 was designed for a tournament such as this and tbh its a well balanced map (if ya think about it). DM1 is a newbie level and tbh its ****e (never mind what I said earlier). I reckon it should be changed. Either that or change it to DM3. nuff said.

I know nobody really cares but the reason I'm not entering the league is because I hate Q2DM1. Obviously, because I'm crap at it.
I'm given to understand that Kegser's favourite map is DM1 - hence the choice of that map. Which is fair enough, considering he's organising the tournament. If you don't like it, don't play in it. So I'm not.

From reading the other posts, everyone has there own suggestions (ie. favourite maps)and its near impossible to agree on what map(s) to use.

So, I wholly agree with FB on this and think the the most equitable solution is to play maps which nobody knows particularly well (or indeed equally despise/love)and which are designed for this kind of League.

As it stands, I have no interest.

sorry, noel but when someone of my standard beats a player of your calibre you just gotta brag! also one of levels i recently d/l (which im disgusted no-one else did is also a super duel level. um i think its spoddm3 or something.

we really dont have to have q2dm1 do we???? i really hate that level. i'll go for match1 anytime coz its also a great level. ikdm1 is also fun coz its really small with a lot of armour an heavy in explosive weapons. makes it more of a frag fest than a serious tactics map.

there my four to put forward. it is for the laugh an since all the q2dm levels are so well known its real boring being whipped by ppl who know were there are 2 armour shards somewhere, you know what i mean. if it really came down to a dm level it would be the slimey place or the lava tomb

I have a better idea lads.

I'll make a new map right, with four Quads, 4 Sets of Invuln and 4 red armors and 4 of every wep and several hundred of every ammo.

Would that make youse **** bandits happy? No? Well **** off then.

So I'm stuck with the decision of forcing a map on youse... or forcing a map on you which will change for every game like the UKCCL.

I have to admit I really like the idea of the level changing every week. Basickly for the same reasons that my man jamie pointed out. I will make it much more balanced as you could have some dominos on dm1 but they arnt the dbx on other levels. BTW whats wrong with quad in a 2-2 we play with it in duels. And I think its part of the game to be able to control the quad and keep the other team away from it. Either way I really dont mind but if this league is going to be a success I belive that dm1 only isint going to help

Ok well i gotta agree with everyone who doesn't want dm1 which seems to be everyone except Teeth and Kegser.
Teeth cus there no quad as he'll be touting the railgun and doesn't the balance of quad to stop him railing all the time.
Keg well we all know he love the level if DM4 is his fav level that a very recent thing.

Does any remember the 1v1 level the big one in a square with 2 yellow armour's and rl behind boxes i don't know the name but that was good.

Ahh That grand by me i just didn't like the taught of DM1 as the only map.
