Ok I got a free pc from a friend that I want to use to power a few 80 gig hdds just for storage. At the moment the Pc can only see a 20 gig hdd , I know I have to flash the Bios but since this is a clone pc, I dunno where to start

The Bios info is as follows

    Top Left of Screen
    Award Modular Bios 4.51PG 3/23/98

    Bottom left of screen

    2/23/98 I440LX-8671-2A69JC39C-00

From the C3 part I figured out this is a Chaintech Mobo I think!!

On the BIOS chip itselfs there is the following INfo

    6LTM2-EV10N
    CTF7241-2- V1.0
    03/23/98 IA36

ON THE MOBO ITS ONLY SAYS AGP62TM2-M101
THIS IS A SLOT A TYPE BOARD

    ITS A PII 300MHZ

If anyone can help me id really love to get this upgrade so i can fit the 80gig hdd into the pc

    Maybe:

    I think your board is a Chaintech 6ESA M10X
    Intel 440 LX/EX Pentium 2.

    Also:
you could try Diskwizard2002.exe or dm2000.exe depending on the drive make.
Install the 80Gb as a slave, I think one of these makes your pc 'see' the 80Gb.

Check out the drive manufacturers website for more info on this.

    Cheers
    E.
