Okay, this is completely NOT my style.

Today I was playing on Indigo CA, when in comes slosh and says drop ure rate or be kicked Jay.

he didnt ask...just threatened me. My rate was at 6000. This does not affect anyone. I am on a T3 and this sort of a connect supports this rate, due to the available bandwidth. I know that this means that the server has to spend more time communicating with me, but considering there was only 4 of us in there, it shouldnt have mattered.

So, now i start to ask slosh why, and just to talk about the whole rate thing...Oh no...he doesnt want to talk about it...just "drop ure rate or be kicked." That is great democracy.

I have NEVER caused any trouble or hassle to ANY admins. Slosh seems to put himself above the rest tho. I dont care if he is in charge of the indigo servers. There is no call, for such one sided thinking. For all I care he can Ban me for life.
I dont mind dropping my rate for anyone, providing they ask me, not order me.

And all this was in the middle of a game...he couldn't possibly wait 3 rounds, to ask..oops ORDER me.

U stupid fu(khead... this proves u cant even read pal. I ASKED you enough times to lower your rate and u bloody ignored me. There were plenty of ppl on the servers to back me up too.

U moron - the reason I asked u to drop is to even things out. Us modemers cannot compete against that sort of connection and the sooner your kind realise that the better.

And im telling you one thing.. I did ask nicely however if u want me to say pretty please I will.

Okay I apologise.
However, if he did ask me about 6 times and i didnt see that, it was because we were in the middle of the game, I tend to ignore console messages, unless they have a coloured blob before them, a clan game hangup.

I resent being called a stupid fu(khead and moron, etc tho.

Any brain with half an IQ would have waited until after the game.

It's because of this that Slosh is the omly one of the admins that recieves little respect.

heheheh maybe a more balanced and level headed reply would be better? you got kicked from a server once, ye know, its not the end of the world. slagging off someone like slosh who put alot of time & effort into getting those servers up isn't really on.

The way i see it if u were kicked , you were kicked for a good reason and if ya dont like feic off to quake.ie.

I apologise for those insulting remarks in my earlier post... If I had stopped and thought about it first, I wouldn't have posted in such a harsh manner.

If Slosh asks you to lower your Rate just do it. I know Slosh he is a very reasonible lad. If he says your Rate is too high, then theres a very good reason. Without Slosh you would not have those nice Indigo servers that you love to play on. Also if you want to debate what he's saying keep it to irc as you are distracting other people playing. Afaik your a sound lad Jay so don't post crap about someone who has done a fair bit for Irish Quake (Unless its MP or Carnate <IMG SRC="http://lacerta.ucg.ie/boards/tongue.gif&quot; WIDTH=15 HEIGHT=15 BORDER=0 ALT=":P">).

Ohhh SLosh now I've kissed your ass in public any chance of getting up a Tribes Server, I need to kill people I know.
