    there was a rap group who played it (they even changed it into three four which sounded real good) the flaming lips, i heard reports of other people playing it too.
    anyone hear royksopp play that coldplay song? it was quite hillarious!

    The Roots did a cover of it. But I'm pretty sure it was just the riff from it. Didn't hear them singing it or anything. [I was getting a hotdog when it was on.] The Flaming Lips too. They're the only bands I heard doing it...

    "darling", what some people fail to understand is that some bands don't rip off other bands to the extent to which the white stripes do.

    No, I think it's quite obvious that the White Stripes rip off lots of bands. But this would be okay if - what - they only ripped off 24% of other peoples music? Exactly what percantile point do you claim the moral high ground? And if you found out that your favourite band had actually ripped off some other band, would you stop listening to them?

    Here's some advice: just listen to music you like. It's far better fun that way.
