Ok im Getting an Ampallang next week, and im just wonderin if anyone else has it done?
And what advice do you have for takin care of it?

My advice to you is not to get it done at all. its one of the most dangerous places to get it done due to the amount of blood loss and also you are not going to find many places that will do it at all. As for the pain factor, its quite high and associated with the amount of bloodloss there is a risk of fainting/unconciousness etc. But it looks pretty cool once its done... :eek:

Well this is, of course, what I get from casually clicking on links from the main page's most recently posted list. When I saw the title "ampallang" I assumed someone spelt appalling fairly badly, or was at least having some kind of word play to do with Amp. I like the irony now that this procedure would be better described as appalling.
Now that I have read a quite detailed and clinical account by a guy in Sacramento (on that BmeZine website), I have learned that it is indeed the process of having a barbell stud shoved through your penis - actually shoved through the glans, not the foreskin. (Is this a gay thing by the way? The guy telling about his experience was). This may show my prejudice, but I have always assumed that tongue piercing in guys was an aid to gay fellatio for some reason. As well as this, I've always viewed piercing of any kind as un-necessary surgery basically. Yes, I realise I've wandered on to a forum where I have no business being. I'll leave now as quickly as possible. Sorry people.
Having thought it over for a minute now, I suppose I would like to thank you, ThenComesDudley. Because it is possible to get this done, and you are electing to have it done, by the law of averages, this now drasticaly reduces the chances of this ever happening to me.
As a coda to this post, I suppose I could just go for the cheap laugh and suggest that you save some money by simply hammering a nail through your knob?

Any i got it Done but they wouldnt let me get an ampallang, so i have a Apadravya, which is more or less the same only it goes in the top and out the bottom, heh
