    The 2 MC's should be making forward runs to supplement the striker and the wide men should have runs directly towards the striker. A high level of attacking freedom guarantees plenty of goals and many thrills and spills!

    i spend all first season transfer bdget on diego then in scond season sold quite a few players to buy messi, including alonso!???! insua is good, as is his back-up marcelo! lucas is as good as alonso on his day after time and babel is a real gem!

    this is the formation im using at liverpool at moment! doesnt seem to do me any good! wat tactics do u use wit this formation?

    I play a 4-4-2 generally. Full backs quick,. hard working, good stamina and good crossing. Centre backs...well ya no urself just good 1's! i play a defenisve midfielder and if hes creative as well its extra, An AMC with free creativity and a free role with an arroe for forward run. I play attacking defensive line high, short, quick passing with timewasting a bit rare. With 3 teams and 2 international I have won; 1 prem league, 1 FA cup, 2 la ligas, 2 Scudettos, 2 Champions leagues & a World Cup! not to mention a uefa and a champs league runners up

    I used a similar tactic at united with Ronaldo. Dont judge a book by its cover - sometimes the weird ones work best!

    kudos for this.

    Playing CM2 01/02 and this tactic works wonders 90+% of the time.

    My only problem is when playing v a 433 (chelsea/spurs) or a 4321 (A.Madrid/S.Moscow)...can't seem to find a formation/tactic that works well even half the time :(

    Usually resort to a 532 (flat back 5 + 3 deep DMC) and take the draw :(

    Another one I use to effect is a 41221
