    Woah. Check this out.

According to her former band mate, Billy Howerdel of A Perfect Circle, bassist Paz Lenchantin has left Zwan and is working on a new project with Zwan guitarist Dave Pajo. "I just spoke to her a few days ago and apparently she's out of that band now," Howedel told Rock Sound.

The future for Zwan, who recently cancelled their scheduled European tour citing "Family Reasons" remains unclear at this point. More news as we get it. Meanwhile, Howerdel also said that former APC members Lenchantin and Troy Van Leeuwen may play with APC at some shows in the future but nothing was certain.

It appears the line-up for A Perfect Circle has changed once again. Former Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha looks set to join the band.

According to Undercover's secret agent Double Oh Behave in Los Angeles, Iha, who has remained relatively low-key since the breakup of The Smashing Pumpkins became "suddenly available" just as A Perfect Circle were about to audition guitarists. Auditions that were to take place this week for APC have been cancelled.

The Smashing Pumpkins broke up in December 2000 and frontman Billy Corgan went on to form Zwan. For Zwan he pouched APC's bass player Paz Lechantin. A Perfect Circle were formed by Billy Howerdal, the former guitar tech for Smashing Pumpkins.

Former Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha has joined A Perfect Circle. Although Iha didn't contribute to the band's new album, Thirteenth Step, he'll be onstage for the band's 12-date club tour, which begins July 26 in Denver.

Interesting dilemma here, although I hope the best for Zwan. Theres still no official word on the bands future however hopefully will be announced soon.

Employing James Iha for APC is so f***ing cool.
