Netsource DSL DOWN ???

    hi

    I got only 1-2 k connectivity (meaning nearly none) Saturday morning 9 am
    Done all relevant Troubleshooting no go
    anyone in the same situation...
    is there any contact for out of hour support ?

    Mine was down last night but I hear now that it was schedueled.

    Eircom are having fairly serious problems today with their ADSL anyway. I got up this morning to sub 5KB/sec on my Enhanced service, so I logged into the online support, and this is what they said:
    Tech Support Agent 2 : I'm afriad we are encountering a general slownessin connections on the dsl service accross the board today.

    Tech Support Agent 2 : Please be assured that the problem is not on your pc but that we care having this problem throughout the country.

    You : i see. do you know when everything will be back to normal?

    Tech Support Agent 2 : We hope to have everything solved by Monday

    If netsource is also slow, then its probably related to Eircom's problems....

    Apparrrently, Netsource customers in Galway City have been stuck on sub 1Kbyte/s rates all morning. The pings still seem fine tho.

    netsource still banjaxed :/, took me an hour and half just to get on here to see if it was a netsource/eircom problem or my modem!
    is this affecting all netsource users?any1 know when itll be fixed?

    It hasnt effected me all day, it must be a Galway area problem, maybe someone stuck a JCB into the fibre ring :eek:

    Been messed up most of the afternoon, that I noticed.

    Real strange, pings are fine, and small packets in general, such as telnet seems ok, but data type sessions would die after a few large packets worth of data.

    As demonstrated by the fact that I'm on here, it would appear to be working again.

    ps. where would i find the eircom dsl tech support pages?
