Problem with a geteway laptop

    Right,
    I have a gateway solo 2200 laptop, problem is that the battery is knackered, the power pack is also faulty (has been for a while)- gateway wont have either of them in until the end of march - at the earliest.

    Battery is dead, and I need some files off the HD <IMG SRC="http://lacerta.ucg.ie/boards/frown.gif&quot; WIDTH=15 HEIGHT=15 BORDER=0 ALT=":(">

    Any insparation....
