    Due to the now many cartographers / designers we seem to have it is time to officially form a guild of map makers.

    A site regarding this is about to up on quakezone but may have a new more appropriate home soon in the future.

    What has been sugessted is that the guild cover map making for most games.

    There will be both an alpha and beta testing section

    This will help support those map makers out there for non - quake games

    If you would like to contribute or help plz email guild@quakezone.zzn.com

    Yeah I'm up for that. One thing aswell just want to use this thread to advertise that I'm working on a half-life mission pack (about 5 new single player levels). Its heavily story based but with loads of action. I've been working on it for a while but I realise that such a project is a lot of work and was woundering if any other mappers would be interested in working on it with me.     Along the same lines I read in one of cloud's interviews I think about this punter who designed a q level around his college - along those lines I have begun designing half life level of dublin city centre (stephens green centre/stephens green/grafton street and so on)as accurate as possible.

    It will take a while grand, but any ideas on the general concept though - I'm not putting 3-6 months into a level if everyone else thinks the idea is crap
