    Could somebody give me a few pointers on how to connect to the Irish servers please.
    Quake 2 preferably.
    The only place I've ever connected to is zone.com and that's a ****ing joke plus I'd love to play you guys.

    The IGN have set up 5 servers. You should get good connections do them from any of the Irish ISPs. They are:

    q2war1.quake.ie
    q2ffa1.quake.ie
    q2duel1.quake.ie
    q2arena1.quake.ie - requires Rocket Arena
    q2ctf1.quake.ie - requires ID CTF

    just type connect q2war1.quake.ie in your console, or if you use Gamespy, add them to your favorites menu.
