Christian Chivu can cost alot but is worth it
Richie Partridge great little winger plays either side too
Tijjani Babangida great for first division and ok for permier league
Daniel Nardiello £2-3M he is a born goalscorer

cambiasso free excellent def mid c left playing him fro wet ham and he averages 8 plus i bought hime 5 seasons in for 6m but milan buy him in season 2 before that he is free.

cherno samba alos free from millwall is one for the future as in cm3.

johnson , cole, defoe, ferdinand excellent young players.

My particular favourites:

Mista F(LC): An absolute beast. You can get him on loan at the start but you'll have to fight off most of La Liga to do it. Usually transfer listed for the second season can be got for £5 - £7m at that point.

Farnerud and Kallstrom: The lads.

Yobo D/DM (R/C): £8.5m release clause. Not to be sniffed at if you have the cash.

Glen Johnson: Usually a wonderkid within a season great performance and usualy only £1.5m at the start.

Mido F(L/C): Amazing. @£;8m release clause too.

Joe Cole AM(L/C): Stick him on the left wing and he will annihalate. @£;12m release clause.

Bosnjak F(R/C): Get him around £30k. Best bargain in the game. Quality striker.

Mancini D/AM (R): Incredible player. Sometimes he's approachable to sign at the start on the game sometimes not. £14m if you have to buy him.

Athirson D/M (L): My favourite player by a street. Contiual 8s and as good at Left midfield as he is at left back. Best £5.5m you'll ever spend.

Just started to play this game .. was sick for the last two days now I'm sooo addicted!!

Taylor D L .. always good .. england under 21 .. class
Eddie Pope .. was in the premiership team of year .. didn't cost much .. 800k or so

Adrien Gashi .. good player always around 7.5 avg .. bought for 200k worth now 3m ... MC
Fernerad/Kallstrom .. the lads!!
Thiago Motta . got on loan from Barca .. then he rejected Barca's contract so I got him free AML .. class player (fans player of year twice player of month)
Fabio Paim .. youth .. super player .. only 14 .. he is class .. though don't play him every match otherwise he burns out AMR/L

David Aganso .. beast .. got him on loan from madrid .. 22 league goals ..

Pope D(r/c) - 800k - he didn't settle in the area for me but is still playing great

Klompe D(c) - about 3 m

Stefan Moore S - don't know how much you'd have to pay as I'm playing as villa. He's class. played 74(34)- goals 58- assists 26

Other players at Villa playing good are Hendrie M(C), samuel D(R/L/C), barry D/DM(L/C), Gudjohnson DM(C) -2.5 after first season

And young players who are just getting into my team (10-20 games including sub) now and doing well are
McEveley - free he's only 16
Pereplyotkin - free he's only 16

so your go to somwhere with better value,lidl,germany sebastien deisler 19 million,it all makes sense now. wait no it doesn't. But he did save my blushes in the league cup final. went 1-0 down to millwall in the 87 mintute.........92 minute Deisler goes on na run beats four defenders and chips the goalie from 30 yards. (magical stuff). Mutu the man finished the job scoring twice in extra time but only after millwall scoring again.Ah twas a great game.

You have all missed possibly the hottest talent in England. In my Liverpool team (double CL winners, 6 time champions), he has the record for highest average, most assists and most MOTM awards -

Serge Makofo. You'll get him as a 16 year old from Wimbledon, I think he costs about 650K. Loan him out for a year the following season, when he's 17, and when he comes back, he is world class. An England regular at 18, playing mostly at RM, or ACM. Third most valuable player in my current team after Le Tallec and Paim (who's already been mentioned, another great winger, can play either side.

My other favourite early purchases include -

While I'm here, why is it pubic hair yankingly hard to sell players?! I'm playing as Man United agus I need an influx of cash to continue my reckless buying sprees. Over the months I have tried to sell Barthez (Intending to buy Buffon), Silvestre (even tried lowering asking price 7 million below what he's worth), Butt (*snort*), Ferdinand (no luck there even when lowering the price.) All refused. The only luck I've had was John O'Shea for a paltry 6.25 million. And 4 million of that was spread over eighteen months. 'snot on.

Incidently, I heartily recommend buying Phillipé Mexes. Nabbed him for 5.25, he quickly shot up to 12 and looks set to continue.
