Im Man City in the second season. Sold anelka for 18 mil and bought Daniel Fredheim Holm from Valerenga for 1.2mil and robinho for 10.5 mil. Both twice the player of Anelka.


Also If your looking for a great right midfielder Shaun Wright Philips is excellent if you have the cash. He got premiership player of the season last year and I only finished in 8th place.

I cant hold onto Freddy Adu after he turns 16. he becomes a class international & complete midfielder and then someone offers him a contract and he is gone. How do I keep him till he's 17 and get the "protected contract"

Give him the best wage possible, and don't play him in first-team games (until you give him a protected contract) because it'll raise his profile and get him noticed.

Currently in my first season with Genoa in Serie B:

Daniel Montenegro (AMC - ARG): Free-scoring 25 year old centre midfielder, consistently excellent, scores loads of screamers.
Matias Delgado (AMLC - ARG): He might aswell be the Argentinian Richie Partridge 22, average rating of 8.28 after 36 starts.
Nikola Lazetic (AMR - SER): 27 year old winger, didn't rate him when I first took charge, now 8.10 rating after 26 starts...
Freddy Guarin (mentioned before - best in a forward thinking midfield role)

Lebohang Mokoena, never had the pleasure because Barca and Real come swinging in and swoop him from under my nose everytime i tried.

Benedict Val....cant spell it from Orlando Pirates is also a good buy.

Was going to mention Perea myself. Samil Tuncay (ya have to be quick to get this lad). Raulen, a brazilian, has turned up worldclass in my current game. I think he could have been really cheap at the start of the game.

Matt Jansen-Blackburn 5m great when played as a left sided forward just off the central striker

diego- amc u can get him for 7m from porto. hes only 17 and his value goes up to 11m after a few matches

vanden borre-sw/d/dmc/r/c u can get him for 375k from anderlecht. hes only 16 and improves loads.

Aopologies if I'm wrong I can't beleive these guys haven't been mentioned on this sticky!

Champ manager 03' - Andri Sigborsson (sp?).....best way to find him is do a search on 'Sig' and he plays for FC Reykavik, the boy is a legend. Bought him with Man U, averages 25-30 goals per season. Will cost between 3-5million as he has just joined Reykavik.

Left winger - Matthew Etherington...again grab him early, averages about 7.8 per season, and 15-20 goals from the left wing. Bought him for 1.2 million sold him to Real for 23!

Right back - John Curtis, bought him with Pompy from Man U for 800k, averaged 8 for the season and sold him 2 seasons to Arsenal for 10 million

Left back - Leo Ramos (Independiente)...16 yr old Heinze type left back, will onyl cost .5mil and will rocket to about 8 million in value.

Attacking midfielder - Simon Davies, will cost about 1 million from Peterborough. Worth about 15-20 goals from midfield each season.

And I think someone mentioned Haruna babangida from Barcelona

Kotenko(GK) - Get him in your first transfer window for ~ 700k, after a year or two he will become a very good goalkeeper, he has saved me a lot of points in the first season and also first couple of months of season two.

Collins John(ST) - He is worth around 5.5M and worth every penny, didn't play him much in the first season because Brian McBride was doing excellent. But in the second season, John has scored 8 goals in the first 6 matches that's been played so far and will continue to do so(I hope!). Also if you play him, make sure you have a decent supporting striker, and definately don't play him up front on his own, he's not a Saha.

Cost me a whopping £52 million but was worth every penny! Has a great goals per game ratio and never seems to get injured!

Im still playinf FM 05, 2 great players i bought were Vinkent Kompany 6m & Mario Rebecchi 2.6m from Juve AML gets constant rating between 8-10 also andres d'allesandro although id to pay €12m in compensation but hes aorth 28m when he moves to you.
Anyone recomend good keepers? i have Leo Franco at the moment but he blows hot & cold.
Was gonna buy FM 06 but hear FM 07 is out in sept

Ok dont laugh but titus Bramble aint half bad. Played 20 games last season for me and had an av rating of 7.46. In the Prem thats not half bad. Luque as well is ok but i cannot shift the buggers.

Celsinhio €1.3m (bargain wonderkid 20yrs old value €7.5m)
Leandra Lima €3.9m (Wonderkid values has hit €10.25m value only 21 yrs old)
Leighterton €5m (right mid who gets a few goals)
Rodreguiz €975k (min release clause only 18 but hits a few goals)

Best goalkeeper is defo Ochaoa from American (mex) bought him for €3.9m now valued at over €10m & have barca & milan sniffing!!!

This is with West ham by the way
