With one more mountain stage to go and 4 flat stages, Armstrong with todays brilliant win looks like he has this years Tour in the bag.
Five in a row, sure one of the all time greats?

For sure he is one of the all time greats. Especially since he battled cancer and still gone on to bigger things, lesser men would have dropped out a long time ago.

One minute should be good enough for Lance at this stage. With one mickey mouse mountain stage and four flat to go, all LA has to do is stay in the saddle and make sure his team stops any breakaway.
Though if Jan Ullrich, who is 01:07 behind LA, catches up with Armstrong it will be one of the biggest shocks of the year.

I don't believe it would be that much of a shock, Ullrich has been snapping at his heals for quite a time now.

when he fell the peleton slowed down and let him catch up...

The last mountain stage tomorrow is hardly micky mouse, it has two big mountains and a long downhill finish...

Im not saying he is not going to win, but 1 minute is **** all in Le Tour! What say he falls again, and gets hurt or when he falls the lads attack and dont be nice like yesterday :)

It's traditional that if the yellow jersey falls the pack waits for him to catch up, that is if he's well enough to carry on. Very sporting.

Yes, tomorrows stage includes 2 category 1 climbs, but they don't compare to those in yesterdays stage which were so severe that they're off the scale. That said tomorrow has one tough climb (40km), but tomorrows finish is flatish, so it is going to be hard for someone to make a breakaway to the finish.

Yesterday was the day to catch Armstrong and they didn't do it. Ullrich was only 21 seconds behind on Monday morning and by the evening he was 1:07 behind. Ullrich may be good but he is not that good.
