    I'll be in france for a fortnight.
    I'm still checking in every few days but I wont be posting much due to the french using some *fncked* up keyboards that dont follow the qwerty standard....

    Apparently "Veux tu returnez chez moi?" is a bit less imposing, it also means you are using the informal "tu" as opposed to the formal "vous", marginally implying she(?) is less of a slapper.

    I'd assume it's like the difference between asking; "How would you like to retire to my stately home where we can sup coffee and converse in all things poetry" or turning to her friend and saying "D'ya reckon she'd come back to me gaf later for a bit o' shaggin'?"

    Something along those lines.

    Literal tranlations are:

    "Voulez vous couchez avec moi se soir?" = "Would you like to sleep with me tonight?", but more realisticly translates as "I don't know you enough to call you by your first name, but would you like to sleep with me tonight?",

    "Veux tu returnez chez moi?" = "Would you like to come back to my place?"

    Me got good french isn't it?

    I learned French inschool - forced for 7 years to learn the language and can't for the life of me speak it. I went to Greece and in months I was able to speak the language way better than French. The moral is - if you want to learn a language... don't bother.
