Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    10 decks- 5 djs – RELAY returns

    04/08/03 – The Bodega-Cork

RELAY returns at the end of the August bank holiday weekend at The Bodega Bar in Cork City. Featuring 5 djs and ten decks the concept is exciting and innovative. None of the performers knows who will be chosen next and they have only thirty seconds to prepare and mix into the previous record.

To further test their technical ability and ensure that they earn their money, the djs cannot reveal the contents of their record bag to the other performers. This ensures a wild and eclectic mix is played with the crowd and performers kept guessing throughout the night.

At the first RELAY the exuberant reaction from an up-for-it crowd of weekend workers and party people made for an unforgettable end to the bank holiday weekend. This time we have added a spinning wheel that will randomly choose performers, dancers and drink promotions to get the party started.

The Bodega’s reputation for one-off parties started with their famous New Years Eve ball at the turn of the Millennium. Everyone from Paul Oakenfold to Kerri Chandler has played there since, in a space that has been labelled by
one commentator as "the most beautiful bar in Ireland".

Entry to RELAY is free- the show starts at 9.30pm.

Line up: Stevie G , Colm Kenefick, Adrian Dunlea, Sinead, Mucca

Address: The Bodega, Cornmarket Street, Cork
