    i noticed if u buy a tv on dabs.co.uk you only pay £25 shipping.its a flat rate fee was saving me €350 on a sony 32" wega tv i was thinking of buying

    sounds cool. Do you know if there is any issues with using a UK TV over here. When I got NTL cable the guy said that you can't tune in all the channels on a UK TV.

    You have to tune it through a video. That's assuming you have an Irish video.

    Aye, most UK tellies only have a UHF tuner. Many Irish transmitters still use VHF. RTE said they'd switch over totally but well, they haven't yet. If you're using it purely for Sky/video/DVD it doesn't matter a damn.

    But does that then mean that you can only record the TV channel you are watching?
