Jaysus there's loads of LAN compo's coming up soon. In order of date:

1. Team.IE vs. Team.FR
2. Clan UK vs. Clan 9
3. TGI Duel Invitational (lakerman, kane, timber, xenon, reload, columbo, blitzer, nickodemus, sectopod, sCary, maybe Thresh or RiX)

Nationalism aside, what're the predictions?

my guess:
1. Afraid to say, but france are definitely favourites
2. 9
3. Kane

I dunno I really dont. Its hard to see a team that could beat us but then I've thought that before. France are favourites on paper alright. They have strong players, but thats not enough.... fairly even I'm hoping.

UK v 9
Everyone says UK are excellent. I dunno what the team 9 are sending over but it doesnt look like they're strongest (anyone got the correct list of names?)
9 to win I reckon.

TGI
Lakerman, reload, kane and thresh. Watch for Timber to bottle and choke. (nothing against him hust dont think he's got it in a big comp like that)
i'd love to see thresh totally kick their ****s tho but I doubt it. This one is totally up in the air but its gonna make for some great demos.

Kane hasnt got a chance, the games will be played on more than DM4 which is the only level which Kane really excels at, i dont think he will be beaten on DM4 but there is always the other levels, Thresh is out of practice, Reload is ****, he has a 23 sensitivity and hasnt played anyone good ever. Lakerman or Thresh.

He never misses with his 23 sensitivy u should watch some of his newer demos. Ask bunny for the URL, if hes **** compared too u then u should enter the PGL.

Looking at those demo's he looks the best in the comp, but I agree with you - he aint played any big names.

Kane's supposed to be a dm6 specialist by the way. I reckon that if he's good enough to cream timber on dm4 and it's not his best level then he'd be as good a bet as anyone.

I speced a game with Reload there yesterday (I think). He was playing against an absolute muppet, who joined begging to be allow get a frag. Reload spent the entire game running away...stepping out every now and then to take pot shot. I think he killed the other guy once. It ended something like 1 to -3 to the other guy, and has to be the most boring dool I've ever seen.

Clan 9 showedd some very impressive play against deathrow and if its the same line up I think they have allready won it.

Hmm this one is hard to predict. Of course first to say that would win it would be thresh. He seems to be out of practice so I dont know if he could do it (is he even confirmed to play?!). I would like to see sCary win it but its not going to happen. My money is on lakerman.

but after watching reloads demos.. only one month old.. he sure as **** wont go anywhere NEAR winning that tournament....
