I agree with Aimer and Zambrotta and I also think Guti is a quality player. But I think we should also sign Philippe Mexes from Auxuerre.

Ye can try to get D Cissé all ye like, he won't go to United. But if ye wanna see him play in a red jersey then take a trip to Anfield next season.

I think all the lads Pornapster mentioned would do well at United. Aimar would be my favourite out of that lot, he's bleedin class. He ripped Liverpool apart last season.

I heard from somewhere [can't remember where??] that he won't pass the physical because he has a steel rod in his shin!!

A piece of useless trivia for you ... I saw him in Tenerefe a couple of years ago & couldn't get over how tiny he is!!

I'd love to see Raul play ... and if the rumours from Madrid a right about him falling out with the management of Real, he could be right for bidding for ... I'd say you'd need to bid £35 mill to even get Real to the table!!

I think we need a new striker, If van was to get injured we would be lacking up front. I suppose it does depen on our tactics next year.

No but he is the first bellion. I would hope that he would have more heart than henry. He is young and off to a good start but time will tell.

Ya Raul would be a super signing for the Reds. It will never happen though cause the spaniards rarely leave there home. I've heard he was unsettled but I don't think he will leave. Not this season anyway.

I reckon Fergie will add a few more low profile players to his squad including a defender and a striker. Fergie has made a career on turning the unheard of into superstars. Just look at Ole Gunnar, Peter Schmeicel, Kanchelskis, Deny Irwin etc.

I don't agree ... PSG didn't value him all that much when they could leave him on the bench ... They just knew that because Utd, Barca & Real would create an auction between them, they could keep inflating the price!!

I think there are 2 reasons he didn't sign for United:

1) He didn't want to!
2) United weren't willing to be held to ransom!

Defoe would be a good signing for alot of teams,he's feckin brilliant and i'll never understand how Jeffers (and to a lesser extent Rooney) got into the England squad before him.

I dont see why everyone is so worked up over Bellion - this is the same guy who was playing in the Sunderland Reserves last year.Good prospect but i'm not expecting to see much from him this season. (he'll probably go get 20 goals now.............)

Anyway i don't really think Man U desperately need a new striker - i'd be very happy having Ole and/or Forlan up front for my team.I think Forlan especially is due some good luck,a decent run and some goals.

And as for his ability? He's like Beckham i guess,runs around alot but doesn't accomplish much.So i hope you buy him so we can go buy someone much better.
