one of the first reviews of this (long awaited) card due for launch Aug 1st (with news of the combination WiFi + 256MB SDIO card slated for Dec):
Brighthand Reviews the SanDisk SD Wi-Fi Card

with the release of Windows Mobile 2003 (PocketPC 2003) which improved Wireless comms support and the more recent crop of Pocket PC PDAs including SDIO as standard this will be a handy accessory for those wanting WiFi access on their device. also makes WiFi available for Palm based devices other than the Tungsten|C (once they release the drivers for OS 4.1 and 5.x) as Palm included SDIO in those handhelds with an SD slot (rather than just SD memory) from the start

even for those with a PDA that includes a CF slot, it might still be a good option as CF memory is still much cheaper then SD memory of the same size, althoiugh hopefully future revisions will allow the protruding area to be decreased (much like the 2nd gen BT SDIO cards)
