Having been to a Star Trek convention I can vouch for the authenticity of the people you see in this video. Thank god the dog really takes them down a notch

Only 17 megs so us 56kers can have a go too.

Have a look at some of the fan videos on www.theforce.net - some are quite good, some of them are pretty funny in an unintentional way.
(The "Troops" spoof on "Cops" is great imho but to each his own)

And don't forget the Star Wars Kid

He's taking his former friends to court now.

The dog in question is called Triumph. He has a spot on the Conan O' Brian show in the states.

Tbh, the best bit is the spock appearance.

Ya, I've seen a few of the others like the dog show one and while that Star Wars one is probably my favourite the others are pretty damned good too. If your interested just do a kazaa search for triumph dog and you'll get them all there although they vary in quality.
