I need some help with my mobile.

I have an old mobile, which i bought with my current simcard, and an even older simcard from a previous phone. i bought a new phone and now use it with my newer simcard, and so have a spare old phone AND an even older spare card. the problem is, when i put them together, they wont compute, as the phone was sold with a sim so i suppose it is blocked to everything but that sim.(you with me???)

so, i was wondering if i buy a new sim pack (same network), will i have the same problem with the phone??

my other option is to buy a new phone for the sim, so can anyone help me find a really cheap and basic phone..... i mean the cheapest... once it texts and makes and recieves calls (and doesnt weigh 2 tonnes) i dont care.

get the phone unlocked so it will take all sim cards
