Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Poss DB error

    No SQL Msg just the following:
    There seems to have been a slight problem with the database.
    Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser.

    An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, who you can also contact if the problem persists.

    We apologise for any inconvenience.

    Refresh seemed to work.

    If it says that an e-mail has been dispatched then we know about it immediately if we're online, and it'll be one of the first things I check when I do come online (I read the output of those errors before checking the admin boards just now).

    In this case it's (as far as I know) a mysql table locking problem that pops up in some circumstances.
