So - two departures today. I love departures because it gives the people in question a chance to gather plaudits from all and sundry. Some day for the laugh I'm gonna announce that I'm quitting Quake and just sit back and watch you all shower me with priase etc. only for me to be on a Quake server playing my heart out that night. Ah the old obiquary never fails.
And Chrome if you think Quake is getting too serious then watch this space. I've made it my mission to lighten up these serious bstrds. I love posting total bollx and watching the "serious" players reprimand me for being down on them and their mates.
As for Daaa I laughed out loud when I saw some of the respones to your post. - "good riddands" etc. Twas funny but I for one will miss your irritating prescence on the servers. Things can get too boring sometimes. Don't forget some of the server admins are gonna get mighty bored with no-one to kick. Daa is playing. He was on CA last night.

Actually, that leads me to an interesting question. I still remember all the trouble Daa used to cause (and I say 'used to' because at this stage I am beginning to think that aliens have abducted our Daaa and put a human in his place! A definite improvement in manners!), but anyway, Last night he threatened to Kick a guy called 'Hamlet?' for spamming (honestly, the guy was spamming. Blatantly, and it was a pain for me as well - I was on his team - red. I never knew if the gren in front of me was potentially harmful or not!!). Now, doesn't kicking require admin status? If so, has Daa repented and atoned enough to earn Admin status? (no offence Daa, but you are the LAST person I would have expected to have Admin rights , without the voting ability enabled).

Anyhoo, Daa is behaving a lot better (and unlike McEnroe he hasn't turned to crap!) but it seems that others are stepping in to take his place. If there was an admin on CA last night, Hamlet *should* have been kicked , he was taking away from the game for everyone. Having said that, at least when I say 'Hamlet? rides [insert name here]'s rocket] I knew where the enemy were! :-)

hehe, seriously, Daa and Hamlet? I doubt it, they were both playing at the same time. Mind you, if there is a bot that can run to an area and just spam the place it is a possibility. He never really replied! hmmmmm, maybe it's a plot by Dukey Nukey players to discredit the quake community , nah! maybe not, all they would have to do is read a few of these threads. Mind you, they ARE dukey nukey players after all.....
