    make some:

    Rob's Barbecue Sauce

    Ingredients
4 Large onions - Finely chopped
    2 Tablespoons Finely chopped garlic
    3 Tablespoons vegetable oil
    1 1/2 Cups tomato puree
3 Cans tomatoes - with juice
    2 1/2 Cups rice vinegar
    4 Tablespoons dark brown sugar
    4 Tablespoons granulated sugar
    2 Tablespoons salt
    2 Tablespoons cracked black pepper
    2 Tablespoons paprika
    2 Tablespoons chili powder
    4 Tablespoons molasses
    4 Tablespoons Hoi-Sin Sauce
    4 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
    8 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard

In a large saucepan, saute the onion and garlic in the oil over medium heat until golden brown, about 7 to 10 minutes.

Add all the remaining ingredients, bring to a boil, then reduce to very low heat and simmer for 2-3 hours.

Let it cool and puree sauce in blender.

transfer to jars (will keep for about 3/4 weeks in fridge)

    Enjoy

Chinese plum sauce works very well with BBQs.
