Any dealers in Dublin ... The Loewe.de website doesn't seem to work for Dealer search

I see from a previous thread that 2 dealers (HM Blackrock & Lyric) have closed

Are there any other dealers in the Dublin Area - Or anywhere else in Ireland ?

There is a new retail outlet in Airside Business park in SWords . It called Harvey Norman .. They have the widest variety of electronic goods I've ever seen in one shop .. About 7 differend Lowe TV's , two bloody fantastic demo rooms .. Well worth a visit ...

i no its a bot ot but did anyone ever see the Loewe "40 CRT TV, Its curved like a banana and apparently suffers more from glare and reflection than a mirror. And how the hell would u even go about trying to move a "40 CRT, The services of an army regiment and a crane might be required. Ah well thats my say.

There are also the following Loewe dealers that I know of:

Loewe Mount Merrion (Also known as CRS)
    Instacom
    Lyric Hi-Fi Belfast
    I-Home (beside Montrose Hotel)
    Legend Audio Visual (Portlaoise)

Of these dealers, Instacom and Legend don't have retail showrooms as such. They are 'custom install specialists' and can probably do better prices for you as a result of lower overheads.

The 40" CRT is exceptionally good. I have personally installed a couple of them in Ireland. You are right about the glare, care must be taken to make sure that the TV is in a suitable position in the room. Or preferably organise for it to live in a darkened room.

It is one heavy monster though, and just barely fits through your front door. This is the reason it is so curved. If it had a perfectly flat screen it would have to be about 18 inches deeper and would not fit through your door.

As an aside, Loewe are launching a 55" DLP Screen in October. This is a rear projection TV, but forget everything you have ever seen in rear projection. It uses a digital DLP projector, not the CRT dinosaurs currently available. It is capable of HDTV resolutions and the preview I seen was breathtaking. I think the RRP will be approx €11,500.
