    i suppose wireless is the best place for this. is there a website where i can send photos and sh1t to phones for free?

    don't hold your breath. with most (all?) irish mobile operators, only the sender pays for mms - the receiver pays nothing. so the operators don't make any money from a free mms site, because you're not likely to reply to an mms. with sms, it's different because the free one more often than not generates a reply which the operators then make money from (unless you reply via free sms, but that can be pretty inconvenient.) ie. it's a 'loss leader.'

    mms between different operators is only just about to happen within ireland, so there's not much point looking overseas for free sites yet because they won't be able to send to irish numbers.
