Connecting via infrared

Hi guys. I finally got my 3650 after a frustrating first order with expansys. I've only had it for a few hours now, but WHAT A PHONE! I really am impressed, especially with the very acceptable video capture and playback. I will post a detailed review later. But now I am trying to connect it to my laptop via infrared. This is a very old laptop, windows 95, but i can see an infrared port on its back, so i thought I should try it before throwing away money on a bluetooth adaptor. My problem is that i can see the infrared little red window on the laptop, but I cannot operate it. I am trying to send business cards and stuff from my 3650 to the laptop, but the laptop is not recognising it at all. It just remains on standby... I cannot see any infrared program in windows to open, what should i do? Can anyone help? Thanks.

Have you installed the nokia suite, it has a connection manager with it, also go to control panel and you'l see infra make sure its enabled

check your bios settings you may have to enable it from there

Thanks guys. I cannot find anything about infrared in the windows, even in the control panel... it is wierd. and i can't install suite because the connection speed is so slow... I think i'll have to just buy the bluetooth adaptor, thanks for trying though.
