I tried allofmp3.com gave them $5 to kickstart my account.
downloaded about 12 tracks and with only one exception the quality of the encoded mp3 was really really bad- unlistenable - and this was at 320kbps bit rate

I've left a note with their tech support to see what they have to say....

I followed up with allofmp3.com and was very impressed - their tech support cancelled the charges for the poor quality downloads and looked into what the problem was, they fixed and, I re-downloaded and all is well.

Think Apple are planning to launch a PC version of their iTunes music store soon... Seems reasonably powerful and priced... oh and it's shiny too..
