GPS Resources in Ireland (not gpRs!)

I'm trying to put together a list of GPS resources in Ireland. Unfortunately when trying to search for references to GPS here I get the following error message -

The search term you specified (gps) is under the minimum word length (4) and therefore will not be found. Please make this term longer.

So can anyone help? Has it been discussed here in the past?

    Thanks,
    -Jim.

you can get around that limit by using a wildcard e.g.
    gps*

    here's one thread from technology:

one of the GPS heads in the last place i worked was mad for geocaching when ever he was over visiting our shores

    btw...

this may be of interest to you - this crowd: wayfinder ran a demo at CeBIT of a series 60 handset (7650) connecting to a bluetooth gps device (think it was the Socket branded one - the Emtac is the exact same) - and using their server (by providing your gps loc) you get the relevant info to the handset for display - they said they were also working on the P800 at the time

Thanks lads, some great links there. Very much appreciated.

I had of course tried googling for some info and while there was 'F..King loads' about GPS in general of course, I couldn't find much quality info about GPS in Ireland.

That Wayfinder link is of particular interest Brian, considering I recently got a 3650. Cheers!
