    Thinking of downloaded this piece of shareware that purports to be a spyware eliminator...
    Anyone know anything about this software?
    Is it any good?
    Will it kill my computer?

    Hi. Thought it was freeware - but with an option to donate. It's a very useful piece of software but can do more than just scan for spyware - so take just a little while to get to know it before you start using it to delete stuff.

    Recommend to first go to the "on line" bar and Search for Updates, then download them and reboot. Then check "File Sets" on the "settings" bar and until you know the application better keep the "System Internals" and " "Usage Tracking" unchecked and also have a read of the Help files.

    It is generally quite safe to use "Fix Selected Problems" for any items in red after using the "Check for Problems". If in doubt ask or search using Google etc.

    You can also get additional info on items from "Product Info" on the "Info and Licence" bar.
