Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sky fights back .. in Italy.

    A large number of Italian Satellite channels are now branded "Sky Italia" in completion of a Sky Takeover in Italy. A spart of the deal, Canal+ withdrew the court case alleging Sky/ NDS paid to have Canal+/ITV encryption hacked.

    The operator in Itally was losing money due to large number of Pirate viewers.

    The FTA Alice, Leonardo and Nuvolari channels from Sitcom world have joined the Sky Italia package.

    Fox News on 13E is now encrypted.

    Several new channels "explain the benefits" of Sky.

    They are selling a new box at 299 Euro install.

    May other FTA channels such as Deejay TV and TV5 are now listing Sky Italia as provider. I expect these to be encrypted later.


    EU is reconsidering their TV without Frontiers directive as Sky has used this to avoid regulation, the opposite to what was intended.
