Jetplane Landing will be returning to these shores in October (for details check http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=108377)

The band will be promoting their new album, Once Like A Spark, which is due for release on 6 October. That will be preceeded by first single, Calculate The Risk, on 8 September.

Both release will be on smalltown america records, the band's own label, and will be available in all good record stores (and some rubbish ones...)

Jetplane Landing can best be described as equal parts Fugazi, Pavement, Joyrider, and the Jesus Lizard. In their own words, they are "emo if you like, math if you care, rock when you don't" and have been described by Time Out magazine as the "anglo-irish shellac on speed". The band have toured extensively over the past two years, as both a headline and support act (support-slots with Ash, Biffy Clyro, Hundred Reasons and Seafood, amongst others.)

    Anyone interested?
